In many ways I'm glad that the mock exam results are out. Sure, I didn't do well, but in comparison to the amount that I studied, it was ok. I pretty much got what I had expected to get. Now I'm just waiting for it all to blow over, and I'm praying that people will soon get over their grades. This is because I personally think that exams bring out the worst in most people. Suddenly everyone becomes a bloody liar with their whole "I never study" bullshit, when everyone knows that they spent the 3 weeks of Christmas holiday studying their miserable asses off. And there's another breed of liars who have the habit of spewing their crap only once they've left the exam hall. "It was so hard! I'm going to fail!", they exclaim [knowing very well that they've secured themselves a 6/7] as they troop back to the tables with the rest of the real losers. I bet they laugh to themselves as they're non-fibbing companions echo in agreement. There's only one word for it. Scum.
